Its products are used across industrial environments and infrastructure sectors, where performance, reliability and application understanding are critical.\n\nThe company operates within the industrial manufacturing sector, designing and supplying engineered products used in a wide range of industrial applications.\n\nThe Senior Product Manager Role\nAs a Senior Product Manager, you will take ownership of a multi-brand, engineered product portfolio valued at £25m+, operating in a technically complex and high-performance product environment.\n\nThe role has a strong commercial focus, with particular emphasis on driving gross margin improvement, refining pricing strategy, and leading portfolio analysis, while supporting both P&L performance and sales growth.\n\nYou will act as the link between customer, product and market, helping to shape strategy and ensuring the portfolio is competitive, clearly positioned, and commercially successful.\n\nKey Responsibilities of the Senior Product Manager Role\n\nOwn the full product lifecycle from strategy through to phase-out\nDrive gross margin improvement across the product portfolio\nDefine and implement pricing strategy and value proposition\nLead detailed portfolio analysis, segmentation and rationalisation\nDevelop a strong understanding of customer needs, product application and market drivers within industrial markets\nAct as the voice of the customer, translating insight into commercial and product decisions\nSupport, influence and help direct sales teams across B2B and B2C channels\nWork closely with OEMs, distributors and commercial teams\nSupport P&L performance through product strategy and commercial decision-making\nSupport new product development (NPD) with a focus on value-driven improvements\nInfluence stakeholders across a cross-functional, matrix organisation\nWork closely with engineering and operations to ensure product viability and performance \n\nRequirements for the Senior Product Manager Role\n\nDegree in Engineering or Business\nExperience as a Senior Product Manager or Product Manager within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment where physical products are designed and produced\nBackground in engineering, industrial manufacturing, or industrial product environments\nExperience managing high complexity, engineered or manufactured products\nStrong experience in portfolio analysis, pricing and margin management\nExperience in B2B and/or B2C product environments\nStrong commercial mindset with focus on margin, growth and product performance\nAbility to understand customer, product and market dynamics in detail\nExperience supporting and influencing sales teams\nComfortable working in a cross-functional, matrix organisation\nStrong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skilllPlease note this role is focused on physical product environments.
